    howdy all,

I'm trying to replace a bathroom extractor fan. It's never actually stayed on after turning out the light so I bought a permanent live and neutral fan.

turns out, the existing one is permanent/switched neutral.

I attached the switched live and neutral, capping the permanent live. Sound legit?
