Advice on part time/full time/ or self employment

    Hi all,

So i'm currently in no man's land, collecting JSA, and being very much pressured by JobPath to take any job. My field is design, and I'm working on some projects for work experience. Man I'm working with suggested I learn if getting a part time job with him would allow me to still keep the welfare, and to learn how much max. he should pay me in that case.

This is obviously less than ideal, because I want to get off the dole, so I was thinking about proposing either: 1. Getting a job with him through Jobs Plus incentive (he gets paid to employ me, €10,000 for 2 years) or 2. Starting a self employment with the aid from welfare, in which case I could be a freelancer for him, get paid, and have some backup from welfare.

I'm completely confused as to what would be best to do here, so I'd really appreciate some advice. Thank you!
