    Hi,

Going to look at a couple of 2011 A4 TDI's over the weekend. Is there anything in particular I should watch out for -check. Will get a mechanic to check before making a decision but would like to rule in or out myself before that.

    thanks

Like most cars check when timing belt done (Should be done in 2011 regardless of mileage as age is factor here also).
What condition is DMF in and was it or need to be replaced?
    Verify Mileage & service history
If it were me id be looking at 177bhp. I had 136bhp model and found it 'sluggish'.
Sline spec is a must also if you can afford it.
Good luck. Aesthetically they are a lovely looking car but very overrated as a drivers car IMO

Another option would be the Passat CC

The one point I'd make is to figure out what your budget will get. A base 120bhp is not going to be the same pride as an s-line in red with 170bhp.
Too many people get their heads turned by the high spec rarer models and expect them to be around the same price as the basic ones. The cheaper ones are cheap for a reason.
