Advice about care of Duty as an sna

Hi guys I need some advice.
I am a student sna and I do my placement in a special needs school.
A fellow student also does her placement there
It was brought to my attention last week that this student posted a picture of one of our autistic children on snap chat
I also found out that our course tutor knew.
I asked her what had been done as I was very uncomfortable with it.
She had told her to take it down but because I know I may have a care of duty to report this to the principle
If I do I know that this student will be let go
    Should I report it
Do it have a care of duty to?
    Any advice please
    Thank you

Posting a picture of a pupil online without permission is never good.I think that the course tutor, as she knows about it, is the one who should report it to the school and I'd ask if she did.

If however, you feel this is a case where the school child protection policy has been contravened, then yes, it's legally up to you to report this to the DLP (Designated Liaison Person- usually the principal) of your concern.

Thank you very much for this. Very helpful. I thought too that the college should inform the school as she is there on their recommendation
I will discuss this with my tutor again. Thank you
