How about the dealer you bought it from?

Where are you getting these analogue channels from?

Bought at power city, the analogue channels are fine, worked on the previous telly perfectly

Is there a posibility that the audio has been changed to mono or balance changed to left or right? Have you tried doing a factory reset or rescan on the TV to see if it picks them up properly with audio?

The channels with no sound seem to be stuck on mono with no option to chsnge them to stereo, I deleted all channels twice and re scanned, still having the same problem

When you select the scan, do you get options for the different PAL variants?

Select PAL-I rather than BG or DK or whatever else comes up. Going by other threads here, it seems to be the wrong one can be selected, but still get sound on most channels.

in the tuning menu there is an option for setting the sound mode,
it needs to be PAL I,
it is possibly on PAL B/G at the moment which is basically for continentalsound and will not give any sound here,
so you shouldbe able to change this setting to PAL I ( or just I) on network 2 and any other channel that has no sound and store each one.
    hope this helps you.

Hello can anyone help, I bought a walker smart tv and have hooked my turntable via red and white audio cables, worked well for 5 minutes then got this message. Tv switched to standby mode automatically because there was no signal for a long time. then after 5 min tv goes to standby? Do i need another connection. Thanks and sorry if i havenot posted in correct forum.

Sounds like normal behaviour to me. TVs tend to shut down if there is no picture. There may be an option under power saving to disable this but I doubt it. TVs were not intended to be used the way you describe.

I purchased amplifier i was told by staff at Maplins in Blanchardstown that it would connect my turntable through red and white cables. I already had red and white cable and had connected to tv and vinyl played ok until after 4 minutes tv turned off. Staff suggest amplifier would solve that problem it has not and tv goes to standby because of loss of signal. Any suggestions please other wise will return item and get refund.

If you are technically minded, get an old SCART lead and loop the video output pin to the video input. This should feed the picture of whatever is at the tuner back into the AV.

You should see that picture being displayed while your own audio is playing, so the TV won't switch off as long as there is a picture showing

Thanks for the reply. Tv has only one scart adapter. Ended up buying a new turntable with speakers built in.

You only need the one scart. You just need to open one end, rewire the loop and plug it back in.

    But you're sorted anyway. :-)

Hi, I'm just wondering how you managed to fix your problem? I just bought a new walker smart tv and it will only tune in Irish channels, and rte1 is a very bad picture (unwatchable). On my old very basic tv I was able to get all Irish channels, uk ones like bbc et, plus comedy central, mtg and sky 1? Just wondering am I missing something in the settings?
