Junk mail/kebab leaflets etc. make me insane!

Such a waste of paper and i hate coming home to a hallway of it daily. The people delivering them ignore the No Junk Mail notices too.

Yeah its 50/50 in our area as to if they take note of those No junk mail signs. They even have "No takeaway menu" signs etc in shops.

We stuck up a no junk mail / no free newspapers sign and its cut it to near zero over the last few weeks. We used to get an avalanche of stuff a day.

Still get political stuff for some reason... they must have a different view on junk...

Yup, the no junkmail sign does it for us too. The odd business that ignores it gets blacklisted.

It is so working class to have a no junk mail sign.

I don't understand why a certain pizza company thinks I need the same menu delivered to my door week after week after week.

Nah. Sure all they eat is take away. Love a new menu they do.

Try a different sign or put it somewhere more prominent

I've a no junk mail sign, and I get zero rubbish in my mail box

I put one up a few months back because it was getting ridiculous. We were still receiving some junk mail even with the sign until I caught a woman shoving a pile of through the letter box. She got some fright when I opened the door with the junk mail half way through the letter box. I asked her did she have a problem reading the sign and that was the last time we had junk mail except for political stuff and charity stickers.

If you have unlimited calls on your phone (and home all day) ring every sender of junk mail and thank them for thinking of you with their mail. Decline their services and explain why you don't want to use their service.
Dozens of these calls everyday and businesses might have to rethink their marketing strategy.

Just put it in the recycling.

    Don't worry about it.

Thinly veiled 'look at me I have a hallway' thread.

I'd never put up a no junk mail sign.
Certain things either go into the fire or the recycling bin.
Our local take always sometime give out good vouchers/supermarket and we wouldn't get these then.

I have a "No Junkmail" sign on my door, only one that ignores it is the Alive! d1ckhead that delivers their garbage.

Have caught him twice, and on both occasions been polite but firm in returning his paper to him. Next time I won't be so polite.

You should take a copy sometime, Alive! is a laugh a minute.

I don't know why people get so worked up over junk mail. It's not like it's preventing you from getting your regular post.

I don't even look at it goes straight into the recycling bin.

I get it a lot and I live in an apartment. I just put it into the bin and take no notice.

Got one just there a while ago telling me to ring Anthony from eir(com)
