safego vans are they not required to stay within the areas where high risk are and inside the sign warnings? i just enquired about this as I see a camera sitting on a 60 to 50 short stretch of road ,, catching fish in a barrel, the safety camera warning sign being 2.5 km after the area and on the 80 km stretch

'reply from garda website' The placing of safety camera vehicles at any given location is determined by the safety considerations for road users and operating staff.

    should someone appeal this?

just advice please no i told you so posts

    thanks

What country are you in? Perhaps the laws are different to here where we have a company called GoSafe operating the speed detector vans. You should enquire on some of your local forums.

There is no legal requirement for the camera signs.
There is no legal requirement for the vans to be marked
There is no legal requirement that they can only operate in the zones.

I'm presuming that you are after getting a ticket, and now you're looking for a way out of it.

    Pay it and move on.
