    I don't have either but prefer the look of the Irish one. Looks like both will do the job.

    I've seen the second one in use and they seem pretty sturdy.

    I guess it depends on what you're trying to protect against. If you're not at home and they're trying to force the door, neither of those solutions look like they'd last long against a young man putting all his weight against a long crowbar.

    If you are at home obviously these will give you extra time before someone gets in, but then an anti-snap cylinder would be just as effective at slowing them down.

    I changed the cyclinder already so was just looking for a little bit of extra protection
