Assuming you have a passport from a visa waiver country (Ireland is one of them), then all you need is ESTA.

If you do not have a passport from a visa waiver country, then you will need a B2 visa.

Make sure you use the genuine esta site - there's a site called esta.ie that looks legit but charges $89 rather than the correct charge of $14. It's actually legal for them to charge the higher amount as a 'processing fee' but it's pure gouging!

Thanks. Do I need to print out anything from the ESTA site?

It gets linked to your passport so no need to print anything out.
