Farm accountant / farm advisor

    Looking for a good farm accountant and an equally good advisor in Galway / clare area, anyone recommend anyone/rule anyone out, starting out on my own herd number just got want everything going 100% not just someone going through basics and getting no decent advice as is often the case, cheers

    IFAC are supposed to be well up on farming.

    An advisor is a different kettle of fish. You could try TEAGASC or some private lad. Some say it doesn't matter, but TEAGASC person might not remain in your area at the same level. They might get promoted to a different area. Private lad, if you build a relationship, will probably stay.
