Cattle tag problem

    First cow calved today and I have just went to tag the calves(twins)
    I entered the first set of tags on the farm package but it has refused the tag as the check digit 9 is the same as the previous tag ie 90381 and 90382.
    Has anyone come across this problem before?

    Agrinet but the fault seems to be with the tags not the package

    The new tags are the first with the new numbering system, that is where my problem comes from I think

    Sounds like a misprint on the tags, i suppose you could ring them and get a replacement tag with the correct number or skip that tag if you haven't tagged the calves yet and get a refund/credit note.
