Guidance Counselling

Can anyone tell me if they have been accepted by the IGC, in recent years, after completing a course in Career Guidance development and theory through for example Open University or University of West Scotland? anywhere in Northern Ireland? I know that you have to complete a counselling course also and would love to know which courses/awarding bodies are recognised by them.
I am aware that it will take longer and will have to fulfil conditions, does anyone know specifically what they are?
It is logistically impossible for me to attend courses run by Irish Universities due to distance, working full time and time/ day of course.
    Thank you.
