06 transit electrical gremlins

Hi I have a 06 transit that has developed an annoying electrical issue, it occurs generally in damper conditions but not exclusively which leads me to believe its damp getting into some electrical components but I can't see any sign of damp.
Basically when I'm driving along the wipers interior fan windows and clocks die, I can get them back on by turning on and off the ignition 1 or more times which sometimes gets me to where I want to go but sometimes not.
At the moment it's manageable but I'm under no illusion that it will leave me beside the road some day. Any body came across this before?

Newer shape or older shape ?? New one has the big headlamps.
If its new id check the electrical connections on the bcmi for corrosion.

No it's the old one, read somewhere it could be the ignition switch.
