    Most Jap brands for reliability
Land Rover for the "outta my way peasants!" feeling
Saab for that sporty quirky feeling

The car in front is a Toyota (probably because of brake failure) or those thoroughly honest folks at VW - tough choice :D

Real world cars - BMW, had a good few 3 series now (e36's & 46) Mixture of low mile, well minded stuff and on it's last legs, clapped out stuff. The former category were just nice places to be. Comfortable, good seats, not much cabin noise, interior has that bit of quality and handle well. Across the models, their coupes and saloons age well when it comse to body shape.

    Dream cars - Ferrari.

    Gaz

I voted Toyota (strictly up to about 2003) , but Gaz is up there for sheer variety, utility and madness.

I'd love a fleet of Gaz yokes, or a single Zil truck even.

Torn between Honda, Nissan and Toyota but in the end I voted Nissan. I'm a self confessed addict to all things Japanese but Nissan's s-chassis are timeless.

I have said it before but probably the one car company that for me that stands out is one that most people would overlook Mazda. They aren't the biggest company but they are always trying new things or ideas long before other companies try it.

There were the first to start making there range of cars lighter long before it was cool to do so. The SkyActive engines are a novel idea and I wont even get started with Rotary engines :)

The Mazda range is quite attractive as a whole and they tend to build well engineered cars (minus that awful diesel a few years ago). Our fleet in the race school have been beaten and abused for over half a decade without any major issues.

Also there HQ is Hiroshima which is quite literally the definition of starting from scratch.
If you like all that, check out what's on the way.. .....and no its not a rotary

Maybe they should try new things with their rust protection, or should I say lack of and their diesel engines.

I'm going with Ford, for the sheer amount of cars they made that I love. Mk1 & mk2 escort, xr2i, xr3i, xr4i, the RS Cosworth, the Capri, the Cortina, all Focus RS's, the Fiesta ST, the Mustangs, the GT, the RS200, the list goes on...

Looking at the results, Kias 7 year warranty must be more of a crowd pleaser than I would have thought.

Have a soft spot for the auld opels myself. Had a 98 1.4 petrol Astra for 10 years. Head gasket was about to go but copped it and it was done under 6 month warranty from garage. Other than that 2 water pumps which ended up with me learning how to change timing belt kit with a farmer who did it for 25€. Hardy little car.
