    General opinions wanted please...

Over the last decade + or so, has there been any other djs / producers that have been consistently able to bang out the hits as much as this guy?

I know everyone has their favourite(s) but I'd be interested to hear what people think have been comparable or better.

There is no denying his skill as a producer, though the big beat thing was over-played. I like his Pizzaman and Mighty Dub Katz stuff

Produced some great tracks a long time ago, saw him dj twice years ago (The Point in 1999 and Creamfields in 2001), he knew how to rock a crowd but I never really rated him "technically" as a good dj.

I've looked at some videos of his current dj sets and thought they were terrible. Awful EDM muck.

I was always a fan I have to say. From 'Everyone Needs a 303' through to 'Retox'
I remember seeing an interview with Moby once and the issue of sampling came up. Moby replied 'I'm not Fatboy Slim'. I thought it was particularly snotty seeing as his entire Play album was built on samples.

I wouldn't rate as him a good DJ or artist personally but each too there own I guess.

Bird of Prey is one if those cheesy ones I listen to now and again. Moby shouldn't be too snotty, after all he went from great techno to nice music for elevators.
