Taxsaver Travel Pass Question

    Hi guys,
apologies if this has been asked before, I've gone through some threads but couldn't find anything on it.
I'm starting work in Dublin tomorrow commuting on the train/LUAS. I got the yearly train travel smart card from taxsavers.ie and got the LUAS added on to it as well.
I'm assuming that I touch it off those pads when I get on and get off the Luas. What happens though if I forget to when I'm getting off it ? Will I be fined or charged extra at some point during the year?? I'll be getting on and off at the same stations on a daily basis.

it's official policy that you should tag on, though as it is a prepaid ticket there's nothing really which will come of it (based on my experience) if you don't; you are clearly not engaging in fare evasion, though there's arguments about whether you're violating the Ts&Cs of the ticket if you don't.

Thanks for that . I'll be doing my best to remember to do it, will just have to get into the habit of it.
