Hi I am looking at buying a vat qualifying Kuga in Northern Ireland/UK. I can get a 2014/2015 for around 11K stg including vat. Taking 20% vat off and changing over it will be approx 10,500 + 2500 vrt +600 conversation. Comes in at 13,600. They arr hard to fine in 2 seater and it would be titanium spec

Can I use my company vat number and zero rate the purchase. I want to convert to a 2 seater.
Is there any issues in doing this or am i missing something?

I know the saving isn't massive, but the spec would be higher and the mileage lower.

    Any thoughts would be good

If you use your Irish VAT No., the dealer in the North should sell the jeep to you less UK VAT. You could then get it converted in the North and have the change registered in the North. That would reduce your VRT down here to iirc €300.00.

It should, provided the conversion has been registered with the N.I/UK authorities.
