Why did Poite have his left hand held out there, only to give the penalty the other way a second later?

    Callum Black's head is amazing.

He has the same head shape and ratio to body size as my baby does

  • well

    He's quick

Ulsters lack of forward carrying, and not making the gainline is forcing turn overs

Ulster a bit naive there - defense was a bit all over the place and Exeter with the advantage, they really should have killed it.

I didn't know Campagnaro moved from Treviso to Exeter.

    Now I know.

  • Zero penetration from Ulster. An awful lot of shovelling ****.

Would like to see Jackson start pinging balls over the top of the Exeter defensive line and force them into keeping an eye behind them too.

    This is so dull

I had known this, but had completely forgotten.
    Whitten going well too.

That's a try. Deserved by Exeter.

I find it annoying how 42.ie do live updates for Leinster, Munster, and Connacht games, but hardly ever for Ulster. Pain in the arse when you can't get Sky or BT TV.

I find twitter best for match day updates.

Ulster doing their usual end of group phase capitulation it seems...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,154 ✭✭✭✭Neil3030

Flashscore just gave a try to Ulster?

Sky sports website is pretty ok for updates.

That's much better from Ulster. No point in just giving it to Henderson because he isn't getting a chance. Out to the wings......Piutau scores!

Ah. Probably because they just scored a try. My... eh... perfectly legal rebroadcasting of the game must be behind... for some reason.

    Yes 12-12

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,154 ✭✭✭✭Neil3030

All came from McCloskey's clever little grubber. More of those needed to unlock this defense.

If you're watching using the Eir Sport website, its a good 5-6 minutes behind "live"
    Quite annoying.

YES. THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I'M WATCHING. POKER FACE.

    Is this on D'Radio?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,248 ✭✭✭kingofthekong

Ulster forward carrying is extremely weak , even Henderson barely makes yards these days

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,077 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

That Nowell fella is good. Will we see him in the 6N?

    12-12 at half time.

Exeter defense is very good. The Ulster forwards are finding it hard to get any forward momentum.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,154 ✭✭✭✭Neil3030

Aside from getting sucked into one ruck, Shanahan hasn't looked out of place at this level at all.

He seems sharp enough, and his passing looks accurate. Made a nice little break or two as well.

You wouldn't shoot a policeman, and then steal his hat, and then go to the toilet in it, and send it to his grieving widow, and then steal it again....

He is our only carrying threat in the forwards so he has a virtually impossible job. Stick him in the Ireland team and you'll see better carrying stats (as we saw against Australia) as the carrying is shared out.

Great bloody defense by Ulster - I was sure Exeter were going to get in for a try there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,154 ✭✭✭✭Neil3030

So to stop a maul, you 1. pull down the receiver, create a mound of humans, 2. shove the maul toward said mound of humans and collapse it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,248 ✭✭✭kingofthekong

Henderson needs to stop this side steppy thing hes doing where just gets nailed behind the gainline

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,047 ✭✭✭Bazzo

That's the longest advantage I've ever seen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,248 ✭✭✭kingofthekong

Imagine what Piutau could do if he wasnt behind a powder puff pack

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,154 ✭✭✭✭Neil3030

    Campagnaro butchered that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,208 ✭✭✭letowski

Lol that advanage must have went on for 3 minutes and 10 phases.
