Boiler working - no heat

I had a problem with my gas boiler and had it fixed. All was OK afterwards. A few hrs later it stopped heating rads. Boiler turns on, starts to circulate then stops and then just keeps running (idle) I have hot water. What could the issue be now?

On a separate issue, I think I got a reconditioned pcb (it looks dirty, and not new) Do they not have to give you a new part?

    Which gas boiler is it?
What problems were you having before getting the repair?
Yes you should be getting a new part fitted (is it what you were charged for)?
How do you know the PCB is dirty?

Did not see these replies till now. Thanks.

    It's a Ferolli new Elite 60 f 24

I know because I seen it being fitted. The one that came out was cleaner than what went in. This has blackened components and looks "old"

Had ongoing issues with mine going dead, then restarting days later. Now it seems to start outputting and then stop. Room temp is lower than thermostat setting. I I increased the wall temp setting to 25 deg (7 more than room temp) and still nothing. I always thought all problems were linked to a boiler thermostat whenever it powered off, it was always following a change to boiler setting (water or heat). If it was the pcb it would not self reboot or repair itself a few days later.

Confused and frustrated not to have heat from a boiler that is operational! I have the manual in English if anyone wants a copy.

The only manual needed for those heaps of junk is a bible. Honestly I'd say the worst boiler I've ever come across

Would tend to agree with all the probs I have had but that don't get it fixed..

Getting a new one is not an easy solution due to length of flue and it runs through ceiling to exterior wall.

Is nobody able to help here except say the boiler is junk?

Now it won't heat the water but instead heats the rads (even though the heating is off) and to a seriously high temp (too hot to touch)

They're an incredibly awkward boiler to set up or control. Stupidly designed with a mind of their own almost. TBH I avoid them whenever I can. Try Ferroli tech. They might be able to tell you how to use the boiler, although I think they dislike them as much as me. 00 44 330 205 0005
