    Hi All,
This is my first post on Boards. I'm doing the Leaving Cert next year and hope get a place on the CK104 BA/BMus programme with the intention of becoming a Music Teacher eventually.

I know that PEC01 is the PME programme that follows on from the primary degree and that it takes applicants under a number of teaching disciplines.
    The questions I have are:

How many music students are typically acccepted on the programme each year?
What is demand like - in other words how difficult is it to get a place on the PME with music?

Thanks in advance for any advice you may have - It will help me make a better choice with the CAO next spring
