I brought in an 11 golf from the UK over the Xmas but due to a problem with the v5c it looks like I won't have the right documentation until just after the 30 days are up.in know I can appeal any fines after I have paid them and try get it back off revenue but what I am wondering is how much are the fines?I can't seem to find figures anywhere for this only that it's a certain amount per day

Some bring in and then get a receipt with a different date.

Don't be driving or stand to have it taken and bigger fines.

How long over the 30 days were you?

0.1% of the omsp as set by revenue per day over the 30 days I was told by a revenue official in Rosslare. I had the same issue but faxed an application for a form of permanent export to Swansea and had the form back in 6 days. You might get lucky.

Book the car in now but pick a date 2 or 3 weeks from now. So long as you have the VRT appointment booked you'll be ok.
