I know this finished ages ago but just watched it now. What did people think of it?

Hi there! I just finshed watching it recently, absolutely LOVED it! What a series and what a fantastic cast, in answer to your question, I think did it mean that he went to this retreat to find himself, but instead he was inspired to create the ad for CocaCola - and thus showing us he will always be pretty ruthless, and ultimately out for himself, I think?!

I just finished it a few days ago too. I think the ending was meant to be a redemption for Don, he owned up to the horrible things he'd done in his life, found an inner peace, and ended up bouncing back and using his undoubted genius for advertising to create an all time iconic ad. I guess the assumption would have to be that he came to be in a healthier place mentally.
