    Hi All,
Am thinking of going for MHRV for a 2007 built 2400 sq ft 2 story 4 bed house. We have well insulated it (walls, attic, 2 stoves, new doors, windows etc) but now face the issue of stuffiness or condensation in the bedrooms during the night.
To my mind it should be a very straight forward job, even considering retrofit as access from attic to ground floor is not too difficult.

I'm looking for good value here but not skimping, though I dont want to throw money away. One quote was looking for 100's for design and 100's more for commissioning. Ducting at 1300 plus VAT?
I cant imagine this taking more that 2 days for 2 lads or even less if they are handy. We not doing the full ground floor due to access but even then the rooms we wont touch downstairs are hardly used (the "good room", utility, toilet)

Can anyone PM me some recommendations?
What is a reasonable cost I should expect to pay?
    Thanks!

First up, the underlined bit says this is not going to be MHVR, it is maybe some half baked variant of DCV

    Re 1: Based on what?

    Re 2
Rather than say 100,'s why not post the number.
Suppose a guy charges 250 a day for design... do the math, to include travelling to the site, measure up go back do the design check it....
    Re 3:
the most important thing, but won't arise in your case as its not full MHVR
Re 4: again based on what?

Final comment. with 2 stoves, high risk of problems

“I can’t pay my staff or mortgage with instagram likes”.

    Re 1: Based on what?
Am basing on the fact these guys know what they are doing and ducting is running some pipework (insulated etc) around to a few rooms

    Re 2
Rather than say 100,'s why not post the number. 300 design without even to visit the site

    Re 3:
the most important thing, but won't arise in your case as its not full MHVR Why do you say that? You have me thinking now...
Re 4: again based on what? previous experience of what others have had done
