    Hi

If moving jobs in the same organisation, and the pay is advertised as lower than current salary, can they reduce my salary?

If they would have to pay you more than they would have to pay any other person appointed to the job, the wouldn't offer you the job.

Like a CEO earning millions decides to go for a job advertised as an office cleaner in the same organisation and says, hey thanks, I'll still take the millions in salary...

I wouldn't blame him, he'd be working harder than ever before.
