    Hi There,

Does anyone know if they place actually exists? Im applying for a single entry tourist visa, we fly out on the 29th of this month and i had a few queries on the visa process.

Ive rung them number on their website 4 times yesterday and the same today, no replies. In order to process the visa we need to send our passports here which i would be vary of doing without speaking to someone first.

Cheers in advance for any replies,

If it's only a consulate then it's effectively a sub-office of the Thai Embassy in London, I'd advise you to contact them and ask.

How long are you staying in Thailand?

You don't need a visa if staying less than 30 days

Great link you provided there, to a completely useless portal. When you click on the link for 'Thai Embassy in Dublin', this is what you get....

Address For The Embassy of Thailand in Dublin:

There is no Thai embassy in Dublin

Yes it does exist ive sent my passport there before and got a visa no problem, but you need to send it at least 3 weeks before you travel you're flying on the 29th thats only 2 weeks from Friday so maybe not enough time.

As has been mentioned if it's less than 30 days it's visa on arrival, if more you can extend while in Thailand but you'd have to go to a government building and can take a full day to get sorted.

I know that Trailfinders and perhaps some other travel agencies run a visa service. You'll have to pay a fee of course but it cuts out some of the hassle if you need to get this done quickly. It's a long time since I dealt with the Thai consulate in Dublin but if memory serves it was quite difficult to get anyone there.

I just done my visa with the Thai consulate in Dublin, found them very helpful when I called, I have a confusing itinerary but Maria explained everything to me and I got my visa back in 2 days! It says 5 working days on the website so I thought this was very quick, I would definitely recommend using them for a visa to Thailand and advice.
