    Hi folks I have noticed when I turn my ignition off my heater fan keeps swirling for a few seconds more makes that slowing down noise any ideas

    It sounds like the blower motor is on the way out and may need replacing.
    This is not uncommon in a lot of cars, but usually for old ones.

    Two years old?
    If car is within warranty, or even if it is not, try dealer first for consultation. They may fix whatever the issue is on good-will.

    yes its underwarranty im due a service in a few weeks ill hit them then , not even two years old

    Is it the interior cabin blower or the fan in the engine bay?

    Why is the blower on when you switch off the engine?
    Normally I turn my blower on first thing to clear mist or ice, and switch it off afterwards as it shouldn't be needed.
    Plus the extra drain on battery when starting.

    Are you sure it's not the radiator fan? It's normal for it to run for a few seconds after switching off the engine.

    i mean the fan that keeps the car warm and demists the windscreen
