    What TV is it? It would be strange for it not to have a headphone jack hidden somewhere. The optical out would normally be for multi-channel audio going to a surround sound system.

    The second one is optical-optical. The first link would work provided you also get a RCA to 3.5 mm converter.

    MY LG has no jack either as odd as it is.

    Weird, they've gone the way of Apple with the iPhone! The first link will work but you can get ones with embedded 3.5 mm jack's and probably for cheaper.
