Please help - head is fried looking up reviews. Can someone recommend me headphones over ear mainly for listening to music etc on laptop and also for use with record player. Around or under the 10th euro mark. Thanks.

I have the Skullcandy Hesh2 Bluetooth Wireless headphones, and they are excellent at €65. I believe you can physically connect a cable as well, but haven't needed to.
