Recommend an internal antenna?

I'm finding all my DVB-T channels are stalling or breaking up for a few weeks now. I checked the aerial connection at both the antenna and STB end and things improved for a while but now not great again. I'm currently using a Synaps AHD-243 as my internal antenna which I've had sitting on the top of the TV but it's fallen off several times at this stage from movement/vibration on the wooden floor or moving the TV the odd time. I'm wondering now is it damaged as there's a bit of an internal rattle off it when I give it a shake. Was looking at getting a new antenna and was wondering would it be worth getting one of the more expensive aerials on SatWorld as a replacement - would it have better performance?

The other thing I was thinking about was trying to run a coax cable out with the satellite cable up to the dish and mount an antenna off the dish mount?

Read the last line in your link.

Note: Indoor aerials should only be used in areas with strong saorview signal.

OK, so the fact that the aerial I have has been working flawlessly for 12 months or more is not an indicator I have a decent signal? It's only started acting up the last few weeks and I'm wondering has it had one fall too many. Best position for it is on top of the TV rather than behind it where it would hvve been safer.

Not at all. It could well have been on the edge of the digital cliff and something has changed for it to fall over that cliff.

As you suggested in your first post put an aerial on your dish mount.

Doubtful that you've fallen off the edge of any cliff unless there's been significant construction done between your antenna and the transmitter. I wouldn't go to the expense and trouble of putting an external antenna up if you already know that the signal is strong enough to use an internal one...

Have you considered replacing the antenna with something similar (eg the Synaps AHD-244) and investing in some sticky-backed velcro to stop it from falling off the tv? ;-)
