Soft pedal during ABS activation

    Hi,
My wife has a Suzuku Swift. Theres been a problem recently where the pedal goes to the floor when the ABS kicks in. After this you need to press the pedal a few times to get the brakes to return to normal.

Our mechanic has had a look a few times but he wasn't able to spot any issues. Although, at the time he took a look we didnt realise it occurred only when the ABS kicked in so hopefully next time he might spot something.

Just wondering if others on here had anything similar and what was the cause? I was able to reproduce the issue one evening when in town (no traffic) by braking goes over a manhole in the wet. So seems to definatley be linked to the ABS.

    Cheers!
