I saw 40 minutes or so of the Shallows, then there was a bit with lots of blood and a graphic injury, and it made me be sick so I went to the toilet in the cinema and never went back into the screen.

I've never seen any of The Harry Potters in their entirety. Have half watched a few of them when they're shown on the telly, usually at Christmas but they never really grabbed me.

    The Neverending Story

When I first watched The Departed, the DVD was scratched and it finally gave up just as Leo & Matt got into the lift.

Eventually got a working copy a few weeks later..

    Mind. Blown..

Mary Poppins, citizen Kane, dr zivago, great escape, it's a wonderful life, dirty dozen, age of ultron, 2001 Space Odessey, Alien, miracle on 34 Street..
Strange mix, but all films i planned to catch on tv over the Christmas, but didn't.

When I sky plus'd the departed, it started with Matt Damon in the back of the car before his first day as a copper. Thought that was the start of the film for years.

The English Patient, very confusing and far fetched and very very boring

Has anyone ever seen the first 10 minutes of Commando?

Always seem to catch it while channel hopping then watching the rest of it.

I've seen the first half of Full Metal Jacket so many times, about 10-15 mins of the second half a few times and never the rest....have no idea how it ends.

    Gone with the Wind.

It's far too long and very boring.

The opening credits sequence is magnificent: Arnie eating ice-cream and feeding deer with the young one and carrying entire felled tree trunks around WITH HIS BARE HANDS.

Seen the first hour of the first Harry Potter, felt like an entirety, never watched any more since.

Was watching The Blair Witch, with a then girl friend. About half an hour to go, she could watch no more, couldn't be bothered sitting through all again just to see the ending.

Most films though, if I start watching, I will see through to the end .

Inception again had no idea what was going on and fell asleep

I've never managed to see through an entire Harry Potter film, don't know how kids manage it. My daughter, at the moment anyway, hates them.

I fell asleep half way through Shakespeare in Love in the cinema, same again with Lost in Translation at home. Usually I make an effort to catch up on something I fell asleep watching at a later stage. I've never had in interest in catching up on either of those.

The Other Guys - watched up until the last half hour. Got tired and switched it off. That was 5 years ago.

The Spaceman and King Arthur: Was supposed to go to it, had joined a queue with my mum when I was 10 - The Classic cinema Harolds Cross - we were told by management it was no go, some technical issue. :( ah well.

All the huge blockbuster franchises of the last 20 years or so - I've never seen a complete lord of the rings (never want to either), harry potter (seen 1 in the cinema with the kids, couldn't tell you which one), star wars (just no, no, no, not for me) hunger games (it's got Jennifer in it, but I still haven't managed to stay awake till the end).
I can't even think of the name of the others but I haven't seen those either!

    Whats eating Gilbert Grape

    with Johnny Depp.

Depressing. The most intelligent sibling must hold the family together, oh and he has no social life awww.

Barton Fink is the other notable stinker I walked out on.

usually I will stick with a film all the way through, I'm perverse like that
But there are some classic films that I don't think I have watched fully as the mains clips from them are always being shown so doesn't entice me to watch them in full or I'm not sure if I have seen them or not

    Gone with the Wind
    Casablanca
    Citizen Kane
    The 3rd Man

I Am Sam. Went to see it in the cinema with this girl who I went on a couple of dates and with who decided to leave about a quarter of the way into it for no specific reason. Never got round to watching it since though it seemed promising enough. Yer wan was a complete head melter, had the attention span of a gnat.

I saw Michael Collins in the cinema, popped out to the loo during and went back into the wrong cinema, also showing the film. Not sure how much I missed of it.

Also, I saw the last 30 mins of The Usual Suspects, and then years later the rest of the film, which was of course, ruined.

Here's my guilty secret, it's painful to admit, but I've never seen past the halfway point of The Godfather...!
