I saw X1 offering 5000 euros towards deposit. I saw 2016 model on Done Deal for 37000e and wondering if this 5000e discount would be applied to it?

They don't have price list on BMW. Only starting prices

I'd imagine it's for a brand new car..

The ads state off new cars.

Ok. I think 2015/16 model price will go down soon because after this 5000e discount you can get a cheaper 2017 model. Let's see

They are probably recouping a lot of that 5k in their PCP interest rate. No such thing as a free lunch.

    It's 4.9% APR.

You can build the new cars on bmw website to get an accurate price on new ones. The 5k will be taken off that.
If all the new ones are reduced 5k, the used ones will be reduced something similar. They may not be advertised as such but they won't sell until they fall into line with new pricing.

    That sounds like right.
Will check bmw website and customise the car to see the price

    Can't see the attraction. I mean you're still getting a BMW X1.

Possibly the OP wants an X1 and not something impracticle for a family like a Porsche or something? :D

Quite true but there are so many better and cheaper options out there rather than some faux-premium Beemer.

Issue with non-premium is you get a very cheap quality interior which is a big no for me.

Although engine quality could be the same.

    Tiguan?

Tiguan with leather upholstery is actually more expensive.

More expensive than an X1 with leather?

    Yes it is.

the x1 appears to start at 39k, the range rover evoque starts at 41, there'd be no competition there in my book, its still a 2wd 'crossover' but the evoque is a lot more car.

Isnt there a newer Evoque due in the near future?
I spoke with a dealers about an evoque and was told i would have to hover around 50k for anything decent spec in one.

i was basing base with base, throw a few options onto an X1 and you'll easily jump to 46-47 .

the evoque got a facelift for this year and land rover tend to keep models around for 10 years (excluding the defender) , so its mid way through its life, hence the facelift.
theres a few other machines out there but especially with the OP's ask for cream leather, id imagine his wife would also be very aesthetically happy with the evoque.

I just checked evoque with auto transmission and beige leather and it's whooping 52k.
    X1 was 46k.
But i agree evoque is more slick

theres 6k in the odds, which is just a few options thrown on the X1 which some stuff is standard on the evoque, also the higher desirability means you'll get that back at resale time.

What sort of driving will you be doing OP, if it's a lot of short stop/start driving then maybe a Lexus NX300H hybrid is worth looking at?
