Wipers not working

    Hi ive a citreon xsara piscasso the wipers have stopped working i got a new motor , but this is not the problem . Any ideas would be great thank

    Did you yourself change the wiper motor? I assume you checked the linkage?

    just picked up a second one cheap unplugged one and tried the second no go.

    Does the motor turn when you switch the wipers on? Can yoi hear a whirring sound?

    no sound or front wiper back wiper working off of same switch

    do you have a multimeter? are you getting voltage out at the motor. You are kind of pissing in the wind if you can't establish that. It's the first port of call

    Swap fuse for wiper motor with another fuse of same rating, just to be sure.

    Aye, check the power and the earth.

    No power = fuses, relay, wire broken, switch not working
    No earth = bad connection to the body some where

    If you have both it's on the other side of the wire plug.

    check if it moves free, could be seized up (take apart greese/wd40)
    doulbe check the motor works

    had a look today no power coming to switch
