Of all the new cars launching in 2017 which ones intrigue you most?

    For me it would be:

    New Peugeot 3008 SUV
    New Renault Scenic

Interesting that they are both French and have both really re-discovered their design flair. Bored to tears with what is emerging from Germany, Japan and VAG.

that 3008 looks very tasty inside.
I was hoping to view one yesterday but ran out of time.

    Alfa giulia looks damn nice.

Insignia is a definite upgrade on the previous model

I'd agree on the new French models.. the new megane coupe and estate look great to me. Is the gap between run of the mill cars and the premiums closing i wonder. Colleague got a new A4 recently and it looks so conservative and boring in black to me. Inside nice but didn't do it for me.

The new A4 is so conservative it's a joke, I believe sales are poor as a result. The only exterior difference to my eyes is that the rear looks like it's been in a shunt.

Opel Insignia is a big one, especially as it's so popular here.

These are the two that have me looking at the net most frequently.

I know it came out the tail end of 2016 but the Volvo S90 is a lot more exciting than the German rivals and the V90 is stunning. Pricy though.

I really like the new Megane too.

Mercedes have a stunning range right now imo.
New insignia with spec could be a lovely car too but will be far too common.

Hate what they did with the A4, manages to look like an older model of the version it replaced, also not so keen on the new A5, very meh.

Odd that Audi seem to have gone from the pinnacle of of cutting edge car design to stale conservatism in such a short period. As stated the new A4 looks worse than the car it replaced. Saw a brand new A3 the other day and was struggling to come up with a reason to buy one over a Golf. Q5 is boring and overpriced. as is the A5. Q7 evokes mixed feelings and I'd probably have a Toureg and save the money. Only exception would be A7.

A4 buyers are buying a badge, not a car, and think others also look at the badge, rather than the car too. Aesthetics, beyond the interlocking circles, are not needed.

Saw a 171 Optima estate today.

    Seriously nice looking car.

As a slightly biased Ceed driver, I'd have to agree. Will be interesting to see if it increases market share by taking i40 estate drivers. For sister brands, kia doesn't get it's fair share imho.

Have a look at the front of the old model q7 and then the new,an awful backwards step ,also the satnav that pops up in the and looks like a tablet was stuck there with Velcro

Definitely alfa Giulia or what's it's called. Really loving it, it's a shame I won't have money to buy it. I'll wait for someone to buy new and in 3 years I'll pay half price. :pac:

I will be killed for this, but I really like new Citroën C3 and if I hand in my "boy racer" card, I woukd love to get that. Looks funky and modern, cheap and really nice spec.

Really don't like new skoda Octavia of 2017. They really botched it. Looks like skoda is like Microsoft Windows - only good every second model. :pac:

New A5 sportback is like a mondeo.
New A5 coupe while not looking great on paper is very nice in the flesh. Much much sharper than the current one.

I think the Citroen C3 looks great too. Best looker in the supermini class, chunky and safe looking too.

Looking forward to seeing the Guilia on the road.

Superb sportline actually looks alright imo. It's a boring hack but the 19s and a few rs trinkets make it look decent.
