New Astra

    Hi , just wondering people's opinion on the new Opel Astra . I have a 12 A4 and for the money to go up 2 years in the Audi I could get a demo model top spec Astra . It would have the a similar 136 hp engine as the Audi .Took a test drive a few days ago it was the lower bhp engine but seemed a really nice car and loaded with kit . We have one child so space is not really an issue . We have had several Audis in A3 and A4 models ( all second hand ) just looking for a change and your opinions . Thanks in Advance .

    I almost bought an Sri last year, lovely car to drive and even the 110bhp has plenty of power. Spec is great too. Main issue I had was the boot is tiny if the car is ordered with spare wheel, and the back seat base is quite small too. I'd buy the estate model if I was looking again

    Not sure of the dealer, but some good deals to be had on 161 A4 1.4 150bhp , a good choice if you are doing less than 20km per year

    Hi Casati , Thanks for the reply . My mileage is probably just under 20 k mostly country roads , so maybe a petrol Audi would be worth a look at .I will make a few calls today and see can I get a price on one . A 162 Astra sri / elite spec is coming in around 8 k with the Audi , for the mileage I am doing does this make more sense to buy . I welcome any replies / opinions . Thanks again .
