Davanti tyres

Has anyone heard of Davanti tyres?
I saw they have a lifetime guarantee in case of punctures through normal wear and tear.
Basically if you puncture the tyre you get a discount on a replacement based on the amount of thread left.
I'll take a pic of the leaflet when I'm home.

They've a small, but positive set of reviews on Tyrereview.
Some people online are saying they're good tyres and others seem to be lumping them into the "cheap Chinese" catagory.

There's a large garage near me that have started stocking them and putting up the signs and banner advertisements.

Someone else was asking about them here recently .
    They are Chinese anyways.
Only selling as Davanti in Europe the last 18 months acording to this article

    http://www.tiretechnologyinternational.com/articles.php?ArticleID=1217

    How much are they ?
That doesnt sound like a guarentee either!

A quote from a thread on piston heads

"The only similarities between my previous tyres and the Davanti DX640 or whatever they're called is the fact they're both black and round. I've got them on a Superb 150 TDI and the traction light is on more than my indicators.":D:D

    The DX390 Davanti's are €80 a corner fitted for R16s.

I had a look online for the tyre and they're coming in at roughly 45-55 GBP per tyre, unfitted on a few sites, ex delivery.

So the leaflet says you'll get a free replacement if there's more than 6mm tread left.
    You'll have to pay a 25% if you're above 5mm, 50% above 4mm, and 75% above 3mm.
There's a few exclusions on it too, related to tyre pressure, rallying, acts of God and the like.

Go for it and let us know,
I wouldn't be putting them on anything with decent bhp tho unless I was 100%.

You'd surely get Michelin energy savers for a similar price?

A solid, well proven day to day tyre.

Do you get an awful lot of punctures or something?
