Hi, Last time I went ,I just looked at Booking.com, Pick the price and location that suits your budget. If 5 Star is in the budget, Just go for it.We went in August and Beach was not on ,Way too hot.
    Enjoy

Stayed in Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort last year and it was very good.

Id just look at the reviews on tripadvisor and pick one in the location you want. Dubai is pretty big and long following the cost, depending on where you are some things can be miles away. Down near the Burj Khalifa is always good, or the other end around Jumeriah or the marina are good too

Hi I am thinking of going to Dubai in October my with boyfriend for a week. I've done some research but find the place very confusing - like should we stay in Abu dabhi or where should we stay - should we stay in Dubai. I was going to book 3 nights in one location and the rest in another as I think it's pretty big there. Also what is it like for getting around over there? And is there anything we should know before we go

Stay in Dubai. We stayed in the somewhere hotel in barsha. Would really recommend it. And make sure if you're staying a few days to get an entertainer card. It makes eating, drinking and going to attractions much better value.

Dubai is the place to go but it is pretty expensive, same price as Dublin for hotels and eating out would be similar or slightly more expensive. Get a NOL card for the Metro which is like our Leap card.

I was there during July and it was 51c so extremely hot and I stayed in the City Seasons Towers Hotel and it is excellent.

We went there in February and stayed in a nice apartment near Jumeriah Beach. Residence. We booked it on AirBnb. It was about €250 per night for a large 2 bedroom apartment which was excellent for 4 of us.
