    what does the r plate mean?

    does it mean they pass the test?

    if you pass the test do you need to put up a new sign up?

    You have to display an R plate for 12 months after passing.

    Vehicles displaying R plates are Restricted to 45mph while displaying the plate, regardless of who's driving.
