H10 hotels in Salou, Spain

That time of the year again when were are looking at holidays for the summer!

We were thinking of going to Salou for the holidays this year. We went there 4 or 5 years ago and stayed in the H10 Med village in Cap Salou that time. Great place to stay. However this time around we would like to stay in main Salou as our youngster is bigger and will stay up and out later so we don't want to fork out for taxis every evening. We would like to stay in a H10 complex again as we really liked the H10 Med Village during our stay. However there are like 4 or 5 H10's in main Salou. Has one here any experience in staying in any of the H10's in main Salou? We have one kiddo, 12, will be near 13 at the time so has no interest in kids clubs, likes a good pool and plenty of ice cream and drinks to hand so a poolside bar would be great.

Also stupid question but what's the difference between B&B, half board and full board (we've only ever gone self catering/room only).

B&B - Bed & Breakfast - so only morning meal

Half board - Bed & Breakfast & evening meal

Full board - Bed & Breakfast, lunch time meal, & evening meal

Stayed in the H10 Salauris Palace last year and seemed good for teenagers as they have a teens club- water sports, video games etc. Went half board, food was fab and hotel was really great. Would definitely recommend.

I just booked this hotel for my family (2kids - 9,1), as we got recommended it from my sister in law. She advised the entertainment and kids activities would keep the kids happy.

One thing I was concerned with was, I was reading that there is a dress code for lunch and dinner, is this enforced?

There own website says no swimware or bare feet & no vests for the men so a t-shirt with sleeves should be ok in the restaurant, dress codes of some description are fairly common in 4* hotel restaurants in Spain especially in the evening, some require men to wear long trousers
