chromecast problem

    hello
    connected up the chromecast to the tv (lg 42")
    all I got was a black screen, chromecast name appeared the disappeared at bottom of the screen
    had the app on the phone, it found the chromecast but it was meant to display a code on the screen, which it didn't
    anyone have the same problems or an idea of a fix?

    A reset of the Chromecast device is all I can suggest.

    brought it back got a replacement
    working fine now
