    Please please please do not insure your car with <snip>.

    I had a terrible experience over Christmas when my car broke down.

    Does anyone know if I can cancel my policy?

    Can you elaborate on what your terrible experience was?
    Did they not send roadside assistance?

    There are implications for no-claims bonus (as in your portion of a year that you've done so far won't count if you're building up a bonus)
