Property tax conundrum

Hope somebody can help me out with this issue. About 5 years ago my aunt purchased a property and I rented it from her. Family rate, cash in hand etc. However my aunt registered the property tax in my name and every year Ive paid it out of the rent. Was convenient for her for me to pay it as she doesn't use the internet so has to go and do things in person and being quite elderly this was handy for her. My dilemma is that I've just purchased my own home and my question is what do I have to do to put the property tax back in her name? Will it look like she's been avoiding tax since its been in my name or will if affect me a way that I haven't though about? Now that I've moved out she's planning on selling it. Do we just leave things as they are and sell the property with the tax still in my name or? Im not overly savvy when it comes to these things and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Cheers!

The property tax is applied to the property and you are the liable person for the LPT for 2017. So if your Aunt is selling, there is probably no need to change. But technically on what you have said, she was actually the liable person whilst you were renting. But once it has been paid, I don't think they will kick us a fuss.
