    Hey Guys,

Has anyone ever painted their car's brake calipers?

    Mine aren't looking the best.

Thinking of removing them, cleaning them and spraying them.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Clean them down thoroughly with brake cleaner. Do not use primer, and only use high temp paint that is suitably marked as safe for use on calipers.

Brake calipers really don't get very hot, any normal paint works but something designed for straight to rust such as hammerite spray gives the best and smoothest results :)

I have painted a few sets. I found the hi temp sprays chip off after a while no matter how thorough your prep is.

The best results I have had is from a small tin of hi temp halfords supply. Leaves a nice wet look finish, solid as a rock.
