Hi I know sites track users where they are based in order to charge differently. How do I hide my IP address , what free services are out there to do this ?

They are vastly more likely to charge based on delivery or billing address. Entering credit card info over a random proxy is extremely stupid.

I did see a great video from a previous Defcon, but I could be wrong, where the speaker described how he set up a proxy and ran/implemented a script which would run in the users browser quietly and gather data (i.e. logins, cc information etc.) and return it to him. So probably not the best idea to be using a free proxy service.

I believe using incognito mode in your browser or the occasional clearing of your cache may be of some use, but people, please correct me if I'm wrong.
