Nearing completition on new build here.

Need to put a pump house in place for the water well pump.
Looking at a 10 ft x 10 ft galvanised steel shed for 500-600 euro (that price doesn't include delivery or assembly). Would probably prefer masonary but don't have the time to dedicate to it at the moment.

Anyone want to share pics or description of what they did?

We have a 5x3 5ft tall kit shed as a pump house now 9 years, on a farm not at house.

Plan to give it a lick of oxide paint this summer but there's no rust or rot anywhere. I got 4x2 pressure treated timber and made a base so the shed isn't sitting on the concrete plinth directly.

Once painted I can see it doing another 10 years.

Think it was €200 at the time.

What's the advantage of it sitting on timber, insulation from the cold?

Guy advised me to keep the steel up and dry to prevent it staying damp and rusting quicker. He said the pressure treated timber would keep it up enough.
