Donations via Text

Tried asking in the Volunteer forum but got no reply.

I donate my phone credit to Pieta House by texting Pieta to 50300 but it only takes 2e a time.

Is there a way to specify a large amount? Ideally I want to donate all my credit to them but have found that if I chain texts back-to-back it only registers one or two, resulting in only a 2/4e donation.

Anyone here in After Hours know the answer?

Do they have a website where you can donate?

have you got an android phone? just use tasker to automate sending the text every couple of minutes until the number of confirmation texts you receive reaches the right amount

How much does the service provider cream off this? Probably better to donate directly IMHO.

he has lots of credit so this way the money is actually used for something, I think that's the reason anyway

100% of your donation goes to your chosen charity across most network operators.

Some network operators apply VAT which means a minimum of €1.63 of €2
