Cityjet aborted landing at Dublin

    Hi folks, I was driving around the main runway heading towards the Boot Inn at about 1445 today. An aircraft was coming in to land and as it landed I did think that it came down a bit hard. Anyway from the distance I was at I can't say whether it touched down but I think it did .... and then bounced immediately back up and took off again.

    It was cityjet. Haven't seen that before. The weather was good and not windy although the windsock was horizontal with a droop at the tip.

    I suppose there's loads of reasons why he went back around, am just wondering what happened today if anyone knows? Would it happen everyday or a few times a month?
