Do you lot want to get married? Or be in long term relationships if thats what you're into. Or just relationships in general.
I can't see myself being married, or a long term relationship. Except with the cat. And I don't mean that in a weird way, I just find it next to impossible to connect with anyone. I mean I'm not great looking, but there's probably worse looking. But I'm not sexual, or attracted to anyone. I'm really looking for a non sexual relationship, but still with a woman. I'm quite self centred really. Not looking to accommodate someone else in my life.

    How about you?

    You should join Couchsurfing.com

Since joining Couchsurfing in 2008 I've had nearly 400 females from forty five different countries sleep in my house and I've still managed to stay single :)

Stephens Night is the 25th anniversary of me asking my now wife out during the slow set.

So it's a bit late for me to answer "no"...

I never wanted to be married. I thought I loved my freedom too much and could never see myself giving that up.

Then I met my wife. Everything changed. Now I cant imagine a life without her.

Don't worry OP you will meet someone. I wasn't married until I was 38. You also have to allow yourself to have feelings for someone. Trust me, when those same feelings are returned, nothing else matters.

Given we can not actually get married in our LTR it is a question we had to ask ourselves at the outset. And the conclusion we came to is that we are not really pushed about marriage either way really.

    What is an LTR?

    It's OK, Google has it...

Long terminal repeats (LTRs) are identical sequences of DNA that repeat hundreds or thousands of times found at either end of retrotransposons or proviral DNA

    Still confused though...

Perhaps some reference to the threat title might help you out. Never underestimate the power of context when trying to understand the text of others.

Married 8 years now but I was the sabe as you, a committed single but that changed when I was 36, married at 38 and two children within 3 years. Wouldn't change it for anything in the universe.

Long-term relationship? Yep. Marriage? Not so much but it does make things easier. I'm hoping to be 10 years with her before getting married but it will probably be 7-8.

I would like a relationship but I definitely don't want to get married. I hate weddings and I really can't think of anyone to be my best man.
