Do 11 digit 087 numbers exist?

    I asked an online contact for their mobile and recieved an 11 digit 087 number . eg 087xxxxxxxx. Do they exist?

    If only there was some way of using your fingers and a telephonic device to find out if a number is genuine

    They do, but the extra digit lets you dial the stargate to another galaxy.

    Probably a scam number made to look genuine. I would delete and ignore.

    Ah yes... but I have been on the recieving end of a few phone scams down the years

    If 5 is after the 087 then it'd put you directly through to voicemail. That'd make up the 11 digits

    A typical 087 Irish mobile number looks like this ...

    087 *** ****

    Three digits-Three digits-Four digits.

    Ten digits in total, but if you add a 5 after the 087 you can go straight through to their voicemail.
