Irish Personal Taxation rules on earnings while resident abroad

UAE: I may be about to emigrate (to the UAE - 0% income tax) but I would be resident there full time. My wife & family would remain here in Ireland.

Question: is there an Irish personal income tax implication on revenue earned while resident abroad full time? I have heard that there may be a 3-year requirement for an Irish Personal Income Tax Liability. However I cannot find anything substantive on this.

Sincere apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere. JF

Your wife will be treated as a single person for tax purposes.

Will you be paid by an Irish company abroad?

Thanks for the response. It is appreciated.
No it's not an Irish company.
It's a UAE government entity; paying in its domestic currency.

Is there a time limitation on days that could be spent back in Ireland (on holidays) while working full-time abroad?
